Gorroppu is a deep Canyon with walls up to 450 meters high, dug by the Flumineddu river in the powerful limestone chains of the Barbagia’s Supramonte.
It is considered the most impressive and deepest canyon in Europe and the bottom is covered by large white boulders smoothed by water. The canyon of Gorroppu can be counted among the most beautiful and important natural monuments of Sardinia, one of those places that you must visit at least once in your life.
